Day 3

Today has been the best so far... We started the day with a new coach, plenty of space, and aircon that works!
...and off we went to Mt Tabor - the site of the Transfiguration.
After looking around the church and sharing worship in the garden we went into Nazareth where our first stop was LUNCH!!
In the same restaurant where, later the same day, the UN general secretary stopped for lunch....honestly, you couldn't make it up!

We then explored the church of the annunciation
Before heading to Nazareth village to get a glimpse of what life would have been like in Nazareth at the time of Christ
 
And finally heading back to the hotel via Mt Precipice (no one jumped!) and the Valkey of the Doves - the road to Nazareth that Jesus and his disciples would have walked...
 
Tomorrow we head north, to Caesarea Philippi, Safed, and Dan.

    Can't believe how much you have done already! Glad the coach has aircon and weather looks great. Starting to get slightly regretful of not coming....
